چکیده
The study aimed to assess the effects of dietary supplementation microencapsulated L. acidophilus and plantarum their combination on growth performance, organ development, diarrhoea incidences, blood profiles, intestinal histomorphology microflora in weaned piglets. For that, 160 piglets with an average body weight (BW) 8.52 ± 0.15 kg were divided into four groups (40 piglets/group) allotted one treatments as follows: a basal diet (C diet) or containing 1 × 108 CFU/g (LA diet), 3 (LP both bacterial strains + LP for 21 days. On day 14, probiotics significantly increased ADFI, while FCR was higher LA than C groups. No (p > 0.05) visceral organs weight, pH biochemical parameters among noticed. Treatments lowered incidence compared control. Villus width greater < all small segments fed probiotics. In jejunum ileum villus length, crypt total villi length 0.05), particularly group. probiotics, group, modulated cecal, microbial community structure amount Lactobacillus spp. decreasing populations Escherichia coli Staphylococcus. Our results indicated that L strains, maintained beneficially altered architecture

Effects of weaning on intestinal crypt epithelial cells in piglets
Intestinal epithelial cells in the crypt proliferate in piglets in response to weaning. However, the underlying mechanism has been unclear. We examined 40 piglets from eight litters (five piglets per litter) that were weaned at the age of 14 d, and one piglet from each litter was randomly selected for closer investigation. Based on the distended intestinal sac method, we isolated crypt epitheli...
